We were excited to attend the Renewable Energy Vermont conference again this year. We are actively seeking industry partners to host our Spring 2025 students as interns and met a number of organizations who are interested in hosting the next generation of sustainable engineers. If you’re interested in hosting an engineering intern, reach out to Hannah.
Greenway also participated in a panel focused on developing Vermont’s renewable energy workforce. Joining Greenway President Mark Somerville on the panel was Sarah Deshaw from BETA Technologies and Missy Mackin from Vermont Works for Women. With Norwich Solar’sMartha Staskus moderating, the panel discussed how higher education, local industry, and training programs can better help the renewable energy workforce in Vermont.
We’re already cooking up ideas for next year’s conference! Take a peak at what we did last year.
