Greenway is thrilled to host The Governor’s Institutes of Vermont – Global Issues & Youth Action Institute this summer!
Participants come from across Vermont & New Hampshire and care greatly about political, environmental, and social issues. The experiences they will have will inform their future, how they think about the larger world, and the smaller but no less significant communities right here in Vermont. Greenway is excited to be a part of the Institute particularly given its alignment with our own efforts to build an engineering college with sustainability at its core.
Greenway Welcomes July 3rd Performers
If you’re not from the Montpelier area, you may not know that the city celebrates Independence Day on July 3rd. These festivities draw the biggest crowd to our capital city every year – around 10,000 people.
When Montpelier Alive asked Greenway to sponsor the event and host a special group of parade performers, we immediately said yes. The Providence Drum Troupe (pictured above) was a highlight of the July 3rd parade.
We’re looking forward to many more July 3rd celebrations in Montpelier!
