Glavel Paves Way For Low Embodied Carbon Construction Material

Greenway’s latest Career Trek was a visit to Glavel’s manufacturing facility in Essex, Vermont. While on site, we learned about the business’s groundbreaking commitment to producing a carbon neutral construction material here in Vermont.

Students had the opportunity to tour the manufacturing process and learn about Glavel’s plans to grow their capacity to meet the demand for their product while increasing their positive impact.

Beginning in January, Greenway Institute will host several legislators in our dorms for the 2024 legislative session. We are excited to play a role in helping alleviate the demand for scarce housing. We strive to be a critical resource for the Montpelier community and always welcome input from our neighbors.
